These terms are an agreement between you and Global Mandarin regarding the download, registration and use of the Global Mandarin mobile app and official website (www.global-mandarin.com).
By registering, signing in or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to all the terms below. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
Global Mandarin provides Chinese speaking practice centered on massive repetition, including training sentences, AI sentence explanations, real-voice courses and a language exchange lobby.
Some content and features are free; Premium membership unlocks all content and features.
We may adjust, add or retire features as needed for operations, and will notify you in an appropriate manner.
You should provide true, accurate and lawful registration information and keep it up to date. Your account is for your own use only and may not be transferred, lent, rented or sold.
You are responsible for keeping your account and password safe and for all activity under your account. Losses caused by inadequate safekeeping are borne by you.
If you find that your account has been compromised or there is a security risk, please contact us immediately.
Premium membership is a one-time payment of US$99 for 365 days, processed through secure channels such as Stripe.
The renewal price is locked at $99. We reserve the right to adjust prices in accordance with the law; adjustments do not affect memberships already in effect.
Refunds: refunds are calculated pro rata based on the days used, with the remaining amount returned. The time for the funds to arrive depends on the payment channel.
Unauthorized payments and suspected fraudulent transactions may be suspended or declined.
The service and all of its content — including training sentences, audio, AI explanations, trademarks, logos, interface design and program code — are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws, and the rights belong to Global Mandarin or the respective rights holders.
Without our written permission, no organization or individual may copy, scrape, bulk-download, distribute or sell the content of this service, or use it to train other models or build similar products.
Original content you post in the service (such as audio and text) remains yours; for the purpose of operating, displaying and improving the service, you grant us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive license.
If you believe content on the platform infringes your lawful rights, please submit a notice of rights through the contact details below and we will handle it in accordance with the law.
You may not use the service for any activity that violates laws or regulations, or upload or post illegal, infringing, harassing, defamatory content or malicious code.
You may not use crawlers, automated scripts or other technical means to access, scrape or copy the data and content of this service in bulk.
You may not reverse engineer, crack or tamper with the service, or otherwise interfere with or disrupt its normal operation.
You may not harass, insult or discriminate against other users or language partners. Chat, community and profile pages provide "Report" and "Block" options; upon receiving a report we begin processing within 24 hours and complete our review and action within 7 business days, which may include removing offending content, restricting features or banning the account. If you disagree with the outcome, you may appeal via support@global-mandarin.com.
The service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We strive to keep the service continuous and stable but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

For service interruptions or data delays caused by force majeure, network failures, third-party service anomalies or other causes beyond our reasonable control, we will restore the service as soon as possible and are exempt from liability to the extent permitted by law.
We may revise these terms in response to legal or business changes. Material changes will be announced in advance via in-app notice or website announcement.
If you violate these terms or applicable laws, we may suspend or terminate the service to you depending on the circumstances. You may also stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
The formation, validity, performance and interpretation of these terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
Disputes arising from these terms should be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit before a court with jurisdiction.
